CLERHP announced Larimar City & Resort marking a historic milestone in urban development in the Caribbean. The event gathered more than 300 guests, including government authorities, business leaders, investors, and members of Dominican society, together with strategic collaborators. Larimar City & Resort is positioned as one of the most innovative and ambitious urban projects in Latin America.
Conceived as the first smart city in the Dominican Republic, the development integrates sustainability, advanced engineering, and a long-term vision for urban living. The project received the support of the Embassy of the Kingdom of Spain, represented by the Economic and Commercial Counsellor, Mrs. Pilar Serret Murga, as well as local authorities such as Alexander Rodríguez, Mayor of La Otra Banda. The ceremony was led by former Minister of Culture Milagros Germán and opened with a solemn blessing by the Bishop of La Altagracia, Monsignor Jesús Castro Marte.
The event underscored the institutional significance of Larimar as a transformative project for the region.
