Colombo Dockyard PLC reported earnings results for the third quarter and nine months ended September 30, 2024. For the third quarter, the company reported sales was LKR 5,146.68 million compared to LKR 7,918.57 million a year ago. Net loss was LKR 1,354.7 million compared to LKR 6,718.73 million a year ago. Basic loss per share from continuing operations was LKR 18.85 compared to LKR 93.5 a year ago.
For the nine months, sales was LKR 18,842.57 million compared to LKR 29,138.34 million a year ago. Net loss was LKR 1,629.03 million compared to LKR 9,790.33 million a year ago. Basic loss per share from continuing operations was LKR 22.67 compared to LKR 136.24 a year ago.
Colombo Dockyard PLC (CDPLC) is a Sri Lanka-based ship repairs, shipbuilding and heavy engineering, and offshore engineering facility company. The Company’s segments include Ship repair, Ship building, Heavy engineering, and Material and other sales.
