Chinese robot maker Unitree priced its IPO at 150.8 yuan per share, a 6.1 billion yuan ($904m) deal that would make it mainland China's first listed humanoid-robot maker. Retail investors subscribed 8,000 times the number of shares on offer.

After electric cars, China kicks off the battle for humanoid robots
After upending the electric auto industry, China is now looking to follow the same trajectory in humanoid robotics. According to Morgan Stanley Investment Management, the country shipped about 13,000 humanoids in 2025, more than 90% of global output, and could more than double deliveries in 2026. A significant share of the machines is still destined for demonstrations, research or trials, but their gradual integration into factories is starting to take on an industrial scale.

Nvidia and Wall Street prepare $500bn financing plan for AI
Nvidia is working with several major financial players to create a vehicle of up to $500bn to fund the buildout of artificial intelligence infrastructure.
