Dr. Janoska has been an influential force in the Canadian high technology sector, with a track-record of championing leading-edge technologies.
Dr. Janoska possesses over 13 years of experience in both high-tech product development and venture capital investing.
Prior to joining VenGrowth, Dr. Janoska was the Principal Engineer at fabless semiconductor company, PMC-Sierra.
Before joining PMC-Sierra, Dr. Janoska was the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) and co-founder of Extreme Packet Devices - a fabless semiconductor firm specializing in the telecommunications sector - subsequently acquired by PMC-Sierra.
Dr. Janoska has also held key engineering roles at Newbridge Networks and Westinghouse Canada.
Dr. Janoska has had numerous articles published in academic and trade journals, and currently has twelve patents pending.
Dr. Janoska is a Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) and holds a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) and a Ph.D.
in Electrical Engineering, both from McMaster University.
