Dr. Patrick R.
Chitwood is a Senior Wealth Strategist at ACG Wealth, Inc. He is currently a Managing Partner with ACG Wealth subsequent to the merging of Chitwood Advisory Group with ACG Wealth.
In 1981 he became a manager with Wheat, First Securities in Winston-Salem.
Dr. Chitwood subsequently managed the Asheville office of Robinson Humphrey before returning to Birmingham in May 1987, where he started Chitwood Advisory Group.
Dr. Chitwood earned his Ph.D.
in Psychology in 1972.
He earned his Chartered Financial Consultant designation in 1990 and his CPA in 1994.
He became one of the first CPAs in the country to receive the designation Personal Financial Specialist by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
