Investors Title Company is a holding company. The Company is engaged in the business of issuing and underwriting title insurance policies. It also provides services in connection with tax-deferred exchanges of like-kind property as well as investment management services to individuals, companies, banks, and trusts. It has two segments. Its primary business activity, and one of its segments, is the issuance of residential and commercial title insurance through Investors Title Insurance Company and National Investors Title Insurance Company. Its second segment provides tax-deferred real property exchange services through its subsidiaries, Investors Title Exchange Corporation and Investors Title Accommodation Corporation. Additionally, it provides management services to title insurance agencies through its subsidiary, Investors Title Management Services, and investment management and trust services to individuals, trusts and other entities through its subsidiary Investors Trust Company.
