Sociedad Hipodromo Chile SA is a Chile-based company principally engaged in the organization of horse races. The Company is also involved in the horse race betting, breeding, export and import of thoroughbred racing horses, development of suitable facilities for training horses, as well as the organization of sport events, races, exhibitions and competitions. As of December 31, 2011, the Company owned such subsidiaries as Inmobiliaria Hipica Ltda, Transmision de Television Hipica Ltda, Servicios Tecnohipica Ltda and such affiliates as Club Hipico de Concepcion SA and Club Hipico de Santiago SA.
