Cummings is the founder of Tradebot Systems, Inc. (1999), Cboe Trading, Inc. (2005), and BATS Global Markets, Inc. (2005).
At Tradebot Systems, Inc., he holds the title of Chairman starting in 1999.
At Cboe Trading, Inc., he was the Chief Executive Officer in 2007.
At BATS Global Markets, Inc., he was a Director.
Currently, Mr. Cummings holds positions at Cboe Exchange, Inc. as an Independent Director since 2005 and at Cboe BZX Exchange, Inc. as a Director.
He previously worked as a Software Engineer at Cerner Corp.
from 1992 to 1995.
Mr. Cummings received his undergraduate degree from Purdue University in 1990.
