Mr. Matthew Yu is a Co-Head of Private Investments at Gasima Financial LLC.
Prior to joining Gasima Global, Mr. Yu spent the last 5+ years as Global Equity Portfolio Manager at Rock Springs Investments (Family Office), having analyzed and invested in both private (seed to late stage) and public deals in the energy, technology, cannabis and healthcare sectors.
Prior to Rock Springs, he managed his own real estate private equity firm as a joint venture with HIG Capital.
In addition to his experience in both private and public equity markets, Mr. Yu has worked in private and public debt research and restructuring advisory at Corsair Partners, Chanin Capital Partners, Donaldson Lufkin & Jenrette/Credit Suisse and JP Morgan Chase.
He received his undergraduate degree from Boston University and a graduate degree from The Trustees of Columbia University in The City of New York.
