From 2001 to 2004, Mr. Owen was a founder and Principal of Westhampton Partners, a $100 million private equity firm based in Atlanta.
From 2000 to 2001, Mr. Owen was an Associate at Harris Williams & Co., a leading national mergers and acquisitions advisory firm based in Richmond, VA. Mr. Owen began his career as a Commercial Relationship Manager at NationsBank (now Bank of America).
He subsequently worked in the investment banking division of Salomon Smith Barney in New York.
Mr. Owen received a B.S.
in Business Administration from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a Masters of Business Administration from the Darden School at the University of Virginia.
