Mr. Terry G.
Roussel, CPA, is Chief Executive Officer at Cornerstone Realty Advisors LLC, Chairman, President & Chief Executive Officer at Cornerstone Core Properties REIT, Inc., and Founder & Chief Executive Officer at Cornerstone Ventures, Inc. He is on the Board of Directors at Cornerstone Healthcare Plus REIT, Inc. He founded Cornerstone Ventures in 1989.
In 1985, Mr. Roussel started the special investments group, a new division within Bank of America’s Capital Markets Group which provided real estate investment opportunities to the bank’s wealthiest private banking clients.
Between 1980 and 1985, he was employed by Bateman Eichler, Hill Richards, Inc., a regional securities firm headquartered in Los Angeles, California.
In this capacity, Mr. Roussel was promoted to First Vice President and Manager of the partnership finance department where he was responsible for the due diligence and marketing of all publicly registered real estate funds offered by the firm.
Previously, he joined the accounting firm of Arthur Andersen & Co. as an auditor and later transferred to the tax department of Arthur Young & Co., the predecessor firm to Ernst & Young.
Mr. Roussel graduated with honors from California State University at Fullerton in 1976 with a B.A. in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting.
He became a Certified Public Accountant in 1979.
