(Alliance News) - Intred Spa said on Thursday that the deadlines set for the fulfillment of the suspensive conditions tied to the purchase of a buildable area in the Municipality of Brescia, intended for the construction of a Data Center announced on September 17, 2024, have expired.

Not all of the authorization and administrative processes required for the construction and subsequent commissioning of the infrastructure have been completed.

The expiry of the deadlines results in the lapse of the mutual rights and obligations arising from the agreements signed between the parties, with no liability or costs for those involved. The company уточ however that the delay is due solely to the failure to complete the permitting process within the expected timeframe and does not affect the project's industrial and strategic appeal, even as it pushes back the construction schedule.

Intred therefore confirmed its intention to build the Data Center, which it considers strategic infrastructure to strengthen its digital operations in support of its growth and development plans, continuing discussions with the relevant authorities and other interested parties to identify conditions that would allow the initiative to move forward.

Intred closed Thursday down 0.6% at €9.26 per share.
