StoneMor Inc. is an owner and operator of cemeteries and funeral homes in the United States. The Company operates through two segments: Cemetery Operations and Funeral Home Operations. Its Cemetery Operations segment includes sales of interment rights, cemetery merchandise, which includes markers, bases, vaults, caskets and cremation niches and its cemetery services include opening and closing services, cremation services and fees for the installation of cemetery merchandise. Its Funeral Home Operations segment includes sales of funeral home merchandise, which includes caskets and other funeral-related items and service, such as services family consultation, the removal of and preparation of remains and the use of funeral home facilities for visitation and prayer services. This segment also includes the sale of term and whole life insurance on an agency basis. It operates approximately 302 cemeteries 74 funeral homes in 23 states and Puerto Rico.
