The Bank operates for the primary purpose of serving the banking needs of individuals and small to medium sized businesses in Surry and Wilkes Counties, North Carolina and Patrick County, Virginia and the surrounding area, while developing personal, hometown associations with these customers. The Bank offers a range of banking services, including checking and savings accounts; commercial, consumer and mortgage loans; safe deposit boxes and other associated services. It offers a range of checking accounts, such as choice checking, surrey checking, regular checking, interest checking, granite checking, granite banking and gold checking. It provides business services, which include business checking, business savings and certificate of deposit (CDs), cash management services, electronic banking, international services, merchant card services and other business services. It also offers wire transfers.
