Valores Simesa SA is a Colombia-based company primarily engaged in the investment sector. The Company’s activities include investment in the real estate, as well as its active in the acquisition of bonds, shares and other financial instruments. Additionally, the Company is involved in the development of Ciudad del Rio, a greenway located in the city of Medellin. Through Promotora Siderurgica Colombiana EU, the Company is active in the steel and iron industry. The Company’s majority shareholder is Bancolombia SA. In October, 2013, the Company announced it has acquired from Erecos SA the real estate assets located in Rionegro, Guarne and Arcabuco.
