Ofer Barnea was the founder of Nehora Photonics Ltd. (founded in 2008) and Barnev, Inc. (founded in 1998), where he held the title of Chief Scientific Officer.
He also worked as the Chairman of the Biomedical Engineering Department at Tel-Aviv University from 2001 to 2005.
Dr. Barnea received his doctorate degree from Drexel University in 1978.
