George Jeffrey Children's Centre is a pediatric outpatient facility serving infants, children, and adolescents from birth to 21 years with physical, developmental, and communication needs. The private company is based in Thunder Bay, Canada. The centre provides family-centred care through a multidisciplinary team offering occupational therapy, physiotherapy, speech-language pathology, social work, augmentative and alternative communication, behavior support, recreation and leisure, seating and mobility, and school-based rehabilitation. Programs are available for various age groups, including rural children, infants, preschoolers, school-age children, and adolescents, with additional French language services. Specialized clinics focus on infant growth and development, feeding and swallowing, and gross motor skills. The centre offers a service navigation program to help families access resources and support while awaiting assessments. Care is delivered in-centre, in the community, schools, and at home, and the centre assists clients in obtaining assistive devices through the Ontario Ministry of Health’s Assistive Devices Program.
