Intel has agreed to acquire the quantum computing software company Classiq in a bid to create a full-stack quantum computing platform.
The company said that Classiq will add a quantum algorithm synthesis platform to Intel's existing quantum software capabilities, creating a full-stack quantum computing solutions business.
Intel also said the deal will allow it to add quantum computing chips known as QPUs to its existing compute platform portfolio.
Financial terms of the deal weren't disclosed. The transaction is expected to close in the first half of next year.
