The First Trust Value Line Dividend Index UCITS ETF (the Fund) seeks investment results that correspond generally to the price and yield, before fees and expenses, of the Value Line Dividend Index (the Index), and designed to find the highest dividend paying stocks within the universe. The Index is an equal-dollar weighted index comprised of U.S. exchange-listed securities of companies that pay above-average dividends and which Value Line gives a SafetyTM Ranking of #1 or #2 using the Value Line SafetyTM Ranking System. As a result, the Index has been designed to seek quality companies, as determined by these safety rankings, that have attractive yields and have exhibited historically low volatility.
